Honest Reviews. No Compromises.
I love working with companies whose products I genuinely believe are moving the world of technology, crafting and home automation forward.
My Core Philosophy
Three principles that guide every review, recommendation and partnership.
Honest Reviews
Every product I review has been used in my workshop on real projects. I don't review things I haven't personally tested — no exceptions.
My words, my views
I don't sit and read some company's script, they don't edit my footage or tell me what to say. My words are always my own.
Genuine Passion
If I recommend something, it's because I genuinely love it and believe other people will like it too.
How It Actually Works
From first contact to published review — here's my process.
Discovery
A company reaches out, or — more often — I discover a product myself and fall in love with it.
Real-World Testing
I use the product extensively in my workshop on real builds. Weeks or months, not hours. I need to know how it actually performs.
Honest Assessment
I form my genuine opinion — the good, the bad and the "wish it did this".
Share or Shelve
If the product is genuinely great and serves the maker community, I share it. If it's not, the video simply never happens. I'd rather say nothing than mislead.
Things I Will Never Do
These are my non-negotiable red lines. No fee, no freebie, and no partnership is worth crossing them.
- Accept payment to change my opinion
- Deliver a company-written script
- Recommend something I haven't personally used
- Hide that something is sponsored
Why This Matters to Me
When I started making YouTube videos, I made a promise to myself: I would never become one of those creators who says whatever a brand wants to hear. I want to be the kind of creator that I would want to watch.
I want to say what I think. When I say a 3D printer is brilliant, it means I've run hundreds of hours through it. When I say a tool changed how I work, they know I mean it. That is far more important to me than some sponsorship deal.
The companies I choose to work with understand this - and I think that in itself is a positive reflection on them. They let me test their products because they believe in what they've built — and they're confident enough to let me share my honest experience. That's the kind of partnership I'm interested in.
Want to Work Together?
I love discovering new products that genuinely help makers and anyone with a curious mind. If you've built something innovative in the world of technology, 3D printing, CNC, laser cutting, smart home, woodworking or home organisation — I'd love to hear from you.
